Configure Device

Configure device via dragging & dropping configuration file
- Connect logger to USB port, LCD shows "USb" (USB) on successful connection
- Download configuration file (.cfg format file) from following online utilities
- ITAG4 series: https://ou-itag.tempsen.com
- Tempod series: https://ou-tempod.tempsen.com
- Save configuration file to removable storage device "TempSenDisk" create by TempSen USB data logger, no need to open or execute the configuration file

Configure device via TempSen Express
- Open TempSen Express program
- Go to "Devices" in left navigation pane
- Connect loggers to USB port, device LCD shows "USB" on successful connection, and device card will appear in "Devices" page of TempSen Express
- Select devices you need to configure
- Select configuration profile you have created
- Click "Configure Device" button to apply the selected configuration profile to the selected device(s)

Start Recording
- Press Start button for 3 seconds
- “REC” on LCD after recording begins

Stop Recording
- Press Stop button 3 seconds
- LCD shows “StoP” (Stop) when recording was successfully stopped

Stop Button Disabled
When Stop Button was disabled during configuration, or you try to stop recording on a logger which was justed started within 30 minutes, LCD will show "NoStop" (No Stop) reminds you that recording could not be stopped.

Download Data
Download Device PDF Report
- Connect logger to USB port of computer, LCD shows "USb" (USB) or USB icon
- After successful connection, logger will start creating PDF report automatically in seconds
- LCD shows "PdF" while generating PDF report
- LCD shows "PdF" and generation progress in percentage while generating PDF report (ITAG4 series 4.0 or above)
- USB icon blinks while generating PDF report (ITAG4 SP)
- PDF report will be generated in removable storage device "'TempSenDisk"
Download Data via TempSen Express
- Open TempSen Express program
- Go to "Devices" in left navigation pane
- Connect loggers to USB port, LCD shows "USB" or USB icon after successful connection, and device will appear in "Devices" window as cards
- Select devices you want to download
- Click on on action bar to download data from the selected devices to TempSen Express

General
Can I download data from logger after battery died?
Data in USB data loggers is always retrievable by connecting logger to USB port of computer to download data, even after battery was dead.
Do I need to re-program data logger to start new recording after last recording stops?
Multi-use data loggers like Tempod series should be re-configured for new recording after previous recording was stopped, but you could enable Repeat Start during configuration then after current recording stopped, you could start recording immediately by pressing Start button. Please note every time starting a new recording will erase existing data in logger, so always remember to download and save data in advance.
What does the lightening icon on LCD mean?
Some loggers are shipped to customer with power system off status for power saving purpose, once user connects the logger to USB port, the power system will be activated and lightening icon appears on LCD which means logger starts consuming power, it is a remider for to use the logger ASAP.
Why can't I stop logger after recording began?
TempSen signle use loggers could not be stopped by pressing STOP button within 30 minutes after logger was started, this is to prevent from customer stopping recording mistakening when trying to start recording.
Can I re-program ITAG loggers after it's was started?
ITAG series data loggers are single use temperature data loggers, so it could not be programmed again after recording started, but you always could change the configurations before recording begins.
How can I know the expiry date of a single use logger, and can I use an expired logger?
You could find expiry date (EXP) date printed on single use loggers, and please DO NOT use a data logger already expired, otherwise power system may fail at any time during recording.
